Newbie with incoming 2014 R1200RT-P (Cheshire, UK)

Hello.
I am expecting a 'new to me' RT-P next Thursday and am itching to ask various questions which will probably be obvious when I have it in front of me. It's a '64' plate so 2014 but I think it's the version that ended in 2014, not started in 2014 if that makes sense.
I think the two things I'm going to want to get to the bottom of are:
a) can I mount a phone (to act as SatNav) above the clocks or bottom of screen?
b) can I get power to whatever I mount there?
For (b) I'm definitely going to have to have a look when it's here as I'm not sure what impact having had police electrics added and then removed will have had.
Here's a picture of it sent to me by the seller anyway...

The answer to both your questions is 'yes'. There are various mounting options for nav mounts above the clocks which could accommodate a phone mount. There's also a spare aux plug underneath the clocks to power accessories. Search the site, there's plenty of information already discussed

I've got the BMW mount my 2012 RT.
There is a switched GPS power connection near the headstock which can be used.
(The one with the white connector in it).

Welcome from a fellow Cheshire resident with a cam head (mine is a 2013 90th edition), also not long on the forum so still a newbie
On the subject of phone/sat nav mounting/power, I have a hornig mount above the clocks but rather than a phone I've got a Carpuride mounted on a BMW Nav V mount (see pics) this connects to my phone for sat nav/music and the phone sends audio to my intercom, power is taken from a connector down by the headstock which is the BMW connector for sat navs
I can get more pics tonight if you wish

Thanks for this (and thanks to others above). I'll get the bike on Thursday and will have more of an idea then if being an RT
-P makes a difference up at that end. For now at least I'll keep things fairly 'luddite'. I don't even have comms built into my helmet. Normally I just use a phone mounted somewhere I can see it as Sat-Nav and wired earbuds.

Well I've got the bike now and am
really enjoying it. It's a comfy cruiser (that I'm looking to do some weekend trips on in the summer) but it can hustle too if I ask it - I guess the police don't buy slow bikes.
I'm pretty sure I've found the GPS power connection - see photo. Now I just need to find a phone mount that goes above the clocks and work out how to get 5v USB power to it from the 12v (I assume) GPS connection.
