Turned 60 last year so I decided it was time to see if I was ready for one. After riding Italian Twins for the last 31 years I need something I can ride for more than a couple of hours. Picked up an exceptionally well-maintained 05 model with 66,000 miles on.
The previous owner was happy to spend a full day walking me through a meticulous 6000 mile service. After 10 years of 1980s Jap bikes then 30+ years of 1990s Ducatis I am pretty handy with the spanners.
Looking forward to doing a full week of commuting without having to fill up.
Still have some Italians in the stable for weekend fun.
