Re: Tools 1st oil change

Are you draining the oil out of the filter too, or do you prefill it before fitting?

Re: Michelin Road 6GT 180/55/17

Where do you get them fitted if you don't do it yourself, I'm thinking of replacing the Battlax 023's that were on my bike when I bought it? Sticky Stuff in Telford charge £70 for ride in/out or £35 for a pair loose wheels.

Re: It was bound to happen

When I was knocked off, my bike started talking, but I couldn't hear what was being said, too much traffic going past. 5 minutes later 2 ambulances turned up, 10 minutes after that the NHS ambulance arrived. The NHS paramedic told me that the other 2 were private contract ambulances, I presume sent ...

Re: Road Tax

It's actually called Vehicle Excise Duty, it's a tax currently based on CO2 emissions. Road Tax was abolished in the 1920/30's by Winston Churchill and Neville Chamberlain but the term is still in wide use.

Re: 2023 Poll of Tyre Options

My current bike has come with a set of 'new' Bridgestone Battlax 023 tyres, 3k in and they are OK, I prefer the Dunlop Roadsmart IV GT's though
