Re: Drain plug oring sizes
I don’t know the dimensions of the o-ring, but I buy all my maintenance items from beemerboneyard.com (https://www.beemerboneyard.com/). Their maintenance kits include the necessary washers and o-rings. Hope this helps, safe travels.

Re: Mexico 2026
Trip videos look amazing. Besides a passport and/or Global Entry card do you need any other documentation to ride a motorcycle into Mexico from the US? Safe travels.

Re: Looking for passenger bag recommendations
I ride a 2016 R1200RT and I bought a 40L REAX Poseidon Dry Bag from Cycle Gear 3 years ago. I have used it on several multiple-day trips with no issue. It has never leaked water and has always kept my gear dry. I tie it down to the passenger seat using Rox Straps & a cable lock to keep it somewhat ...

Re: Best electrical accessory hub?
I installed the Fuzeblocks FZ-1 under the passenger seat of my 2016 R1200RT. It works great and has both “switched” & “unswitched” power capabilities. https://www.fuzeblocks.com/

On my 2016 RT the tire pressures are displayed by: press the “Menu” button until you get to the “Info” screen. Using the wonder wheel scroll until to see “Tire Pressure”. Hope this helps.

Re: Aftermarkey Tank Bag for 2015 R1200RT
I have a SW-Motech EVO tank bag that I purchased a few years ago. It comes with a tank-ring and will not interfere with the handlebars at full right/left stops. There are several YouTube videos to show how to install. It is 5 liters and expands to 9 liters. Not sure if the EVO model is still ...

I have a SW-Motech EVO tank bag that I purchased a few years ago for my 2016 R1200RT. It is 5 liters and expands to 9 liters. Not sure if the EVO model is still available, but their ION model is very similar to the EVO model. The ION model comes in 3 sizes, if needed. I carry a 3L CamelBak in the ...

Re: Cracked screen, should I panic?
My original stock screen and my aftermarket replacement screen have all exhibited similar cracks. In my case none of the cracks have propagated and gotten worse and I do take the screen off the bike once or twice a year for various reasons.

Re: Battery Life
My 2016 R1200RT original battery lasted 6 years. I’m on year 2 of the replacement battery with no issues. I rarely if ever put the battery on a Battery Tender, even during the winter months. I try and get the bike out on the road whenever I can no matter the temperatures as long as the roads are ...
