I appreciate this is an old thread, and the link doesn't work.
So I need to make a funnel.
Any tips?
Anyone done the brake bleed/fluid change recently?
Thank You

Re: Denali Soundbomb
Just resurrecting this thread.
I've bought a Denali Soundbomb compact.
Which they really aren't.
I want to fit it to my R1200RT 06
Do I need another bracket to hang it off? It seems there really isn't a lot of space. I've found plenty of brackets for the 14 bike onwards.
I'm happy with the wiring ...

2006 RT Headlight
Considering the width and brightness at eye level I'm not overly impressed with the lights (or horn) on my 06 RT.
Are there any preffered bulb swaps to improve it? Will LED's work out of the packet with out some kind of fancy resistor intervention?
Am I destined to remain in the gloom?

Re: Bridgestone T33
There is. And I've read it. Next I'll ask which oil to use and then maybe if I'm really bored I'll restart the shaft drives can't wheelie debate.

Morning All.
Persuade me that your tyre is better.
Ok maybe not. But I am on the horns of a dilmma.
I've been a Battlax user since at least the mid 90s. BT50. B16......S22 etc. So as you can probably tell, a diet of sportsbikes. When I raced (briefly) I used a selection of different compound 010.

Re: Aoocchi C6 Pro delay off
Thanks Stu. So theoretically if I use the accessory circuit to throw a relay and run the display via the relay we should be good?
I've timed it with the Aoocchi in and out of the circuit. 55 seconds to off with no load. 19 minutes with the gadget in line.

Aoocchi C6 Pro delay off
Good evening.
Wife bought me an Aoocchi C6 Pro Android gadget for my birthday.
Much fun was had installing it. I have cameras and tyre pressure sensors on an 05 RT now.
Unfortunately my auto shutoff time on the sockets including the accessory badger under the eback seat that I used has gone up from ...

Re: Leaking bevel box
As promised. An update.
Mike at fastbikesservicing has rebuilt my bevel box.
Several crunchy bearings and a full kit of seals later and it's oil tight again.
It wasn't cheap. £450. But its all performing as it should. Happy to recommend.
All clean.

Like this?
The footpeg block is in place. All looks ok. But they do dance around a little bit.

Wobbly Boxes.
As per the title. While my 2006 RT is off the road awaiting a bevel box rebuild I've been looking at a few little tasks. One of which is wobbly panniers. They slot on and latch down fine but they wobble about a fair bit.

Re: Leaking bevel box
Just for near completeness.
£175 for the right sensor and I would still have to chop the end off and swap connectors.
or £160 to get the seal done, £350 if every bearing is shot.
I've sent the Gen1 bevel box back to the ebay chap (James Sherlock, can't recommend highly enough). and mine is off to ...

I had a BMW K100 back in 1990. The final drive broke up. It was a between years one made of unobtanium.
I'm getting flashbacks!!!
