BMW R1200RT Cam alignment tools

Took delivery of these today 8)

Bit of a wait and had to pay customs charges but they are now mine

)

The way its going I don't think I am going to have time to do my own bloody bike!

I'm helping a mate remodel his full downstairs after an extension being built and a wet room made for his disabled wife while also trying to do my own house and go to work at the same time!

Its never ending at the min

Thanks, I'll look in a bit, I just need the 1250 cam jig instead of the 1200 and the 15mm tensioner collar to go with the other items.

Mine was all on back order when I ordered them! They came soon enough though

At every turn I’m knocked down, bmw owner since April this year and what with everything that’s happened so far I’d gladly go back to Honda, can’t even spend money I don’t really have on the tools I need for home servicing ….

I am led to believe that at one point even the dealers was struggling to get the tools

I also heard they had stopped supplying the public and focused mainly on the dealers to get them stocked up

I'm not sure if this is true or what the hold up was but more than likely it will be blamed on covid!

As I say when I ordered mine they was on back order and took around 8 weeks to arrive

Put these tools to use today with the help @Boxflyer's videos

Also checked the valve clearances which they where all in spec

Just need to see if it starts now
