I have some valve/cam work coming up as soon on my 17RT, as the parts arrive. As I was looking through the maintenance manual, it doesn't explain removing the rocker arms. How does one remove those "needle rollers" that hold the rockers in place? I didn't even see a special BMW tool
Anyone have any experience removing those little guys?

Re: Removing Rocker Arms?
My wife says that I have man eyes and she may be right, but I sure don't see any little pins sticking out. I am guessing that those "bearing rollers" are just dowels and harder than the hinges of Hell. Something tells me that they are not going to just slide out without some sort of persuasion
I hope that I am wrong
